talking about archetypes 😉
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The damsel in distress or persecuted maiden is a classic theme in world literature, art, film and video games. She is usually a beautiful young woman placed in a dire predicament by a villain or monster and who requires a hero to achieve her rescue. After rescuing her, the hero often obtains her hand in marriage. She has become a stock character of fiction, particularly of melodrama. Though she is usually human, she can also be of any other species, including fictional or folkloric species; and even divine figures such as an angel, spirit, or deity.
I developed these images a bit ‘off style’ or at least off my style, like or not?

I’m happy to say that after having to quit ‘the mansion’ I finally have found a new ‘homebase’ for shooting. Totally different in character, but as much variation possible as the mansion. Not sure what to call it yet. This will be my main location for at least a couple of months. I already posted some images taken there, but there’s more to come.
A ‘standard’ available location is a good thing for the ease of mind, for the ease of organisation and the fine-tuning of techniques and setups.
It is however important to keep on working in different locations, to expand your portfolio, get some variation and push yourself to be creative. For that I would like to call on followers that if you have a location near my hometown (Ronse – B) that I can use, to please give me a sign. I probably will come over only in a while, but it is handy for me to have a basic list of possible locations for shoots. I can always pick another one if the moment doesn’t suit you.
This said, please enjoy this image from this summer: Hot summer days – the sequel

What it says – hot summer days. Sweaty, but I added some extra drops here and there to cool my subject down. 😉

Handcuffs and blindfolds, they have nothing to do with submission or repression, but all with the fine art of lovemaking.

Tzipac announced its finalist and winners list of the third Tzipac Eros award.
Two of my images made it to the finalist stage, but alas, no winner.
And they forgot to mention my website, which is this blog-site you are looking at of course.
Better next year!

I started calling out for models for my next project ‘Late night at the Mansion’.
This project is meant to be a mix between earlier projects ‘Natural Beauty at the Mansion’ and ‘Nude (In)cognito’, but with a zest of eroticism and provocation. Not necessary nude, but tantalizing all the way. I intend to continue working with natural light mainly, still in the purpose of working swiftly trough different locations and ideas.
I have had a first shoot last week with Nancy B. she came all the way from holland (2,5 h drive) for this shoot, and did really well. She’s not the type of mannequin model you would typically see in magazines, but just a regular woman, taking good care of her body.
A big thank you to the owners of the Mansion for still letting me use the house as a backdrop for my projects, and a word of thanks to the people of Tutti-Passi for granting me access to their range of playful night life accessories.
hope to see you soon.
